[tr][atrb=width,240] THE REGISTRY • When registering to the site itself, please use the first and last name of your upcoming character. For example, if I wanted to join this site and make a character names Maxwell Colliger, my sign-in name would be maxwellcolliger. Don't use names such as jjbomberdude or anything, please. • The CBox is a privilege. Please, no swearing and discriminatory conversations - no racism, sexism, religious and size discrimination, etc. When using the CBox, please put your real name or nickname, and then in brackets goes your character's name. • Only ONE [1] character per account. This does extend to twins as well. Every account must have only one character to it. If you'd like to find someone to be your characters twin, please post on the Premade Characters thread located in the Rules and Regulations board. If you'd like to play both, you must speak with the administrator about it. Once approved, you must make a separate account and biography for the person. • Each member must have a total of FIFTY [50] role playing posts to make a new character. If you post on games, the post doesnt count toward your fifty. You must also, if considering on making a new character, keep up with your first one. The limit is TWO [2] characters per person. • There will be NO anime or any other mythological creature portraying a character. This site it to role play school students and adults at Hogwarts. You MUST have a face claim. If you can't think of one, please contact the administrator for ideas. Check the Face Claim thread located in the Rules and Regulations board to see if your desired face is already taken. • You will have only ONE [1] week to fix anything that needs to be fixed on the character biography. This includes making the biography itself. If you put [WIP] or [Not Done] on your title, then you must finish your biography within a week of your account registry. If your account is posted, but not finished, with in the week given - the thread will be deleted. If you haven't posted a started biography to claim a character within a week of your registry - your account will be deleted. The only way you can have longer is if you contact the administrator and discuss grace days. • No one is perfect. One main part of your character must be a flaw. Whether be a family member dying and scaring them terribly, or having horrible blemishes. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - THE CHARACTER • Starting posts must be a minimum of three [3] fine detailed paragraphs. If you are just starting out with that much of role playing posts, PM The Administrator and they will discuss it with you. The password to the Become a Hogwarts Student board is lovehate. Every post after your first post must be a minimum of one [1] fine detailed paragraph. After doing this for a while, your role playing skills will grow. • You may have posts involving sex, drugs, and violence, however; put [RATED R] in the title of the thread. If you don't use protection, the administrator will tell you if you're pregnant with what or if you're not pregnant. When you get to the bottom of your application, answer the 'what are you' question as a hoggiewart. You MUST contact the administrator if you're planning to have a thread like this. • Role playing must be in third person, using 'she, he, they, them, etc' instead of 'I, we, etc'. Make it clear when the person is speaking also, by using correct punctuation and words! Dialect obviously will be in first person. • Obviously no god-moding or power-playing. Do not control another character. You cannot control another character unless they say you can. While in fights, you can't punch another person. You have to "attempt" Or "plan" on hitting them. When in a fight, both characters can't dodge every attack and can't hit every attack. BUT! You must know about the character's history and if they were trained to fight. They've been trained so they will hit harder, be better, etc. If you have any questions on any other example, please ask the administrator first. • Do NOT post anywhere until your character is accepted! If posted in anything else but yor characters pending biography, your account will be banned for three [3] days, even if the character is then accepted. • Your signature and/or thread picture must NOT stretch the board out. The thread picture must be either two 200x300 pictures or one banner at the size of 350x200. As for the signatures, you may have two pictures both 200x300, or one banner with the height of 150 and the maximum length of 450. If you need help resizing a picture or making a signature/thread picture, please feel free to request one from a member of the site. PLEASE READ THE GRAPHICS BOARD FOR INSTRUCTIONS IN THE OOC CATEGORY AT THE BOTTOM OF THE SITE.
