I would love your input. I haven't been on proboards to role play in years (obviously, seeing that some of these posts were from 2009), but have role played for 7 years total, creating numerous sites of my own. I've not, however, established a fair system for house points. I used to do it by who signed up - which house the character was in would get a set amount of points - and if someone recruited a new person, but I'm not too crazy on that anymore. If you have any ideas on a house points system, or know of a system from previous experience, then go ahead and describe it here!
Thanks, Samantha

From a previous experience of running a couple of my own forums, the way we did house points were: Earn house points: - If during a roleplay if your character does something to earn house points and a professor, prefect or headboy/girl enters the thread to see this character doing something good, they will give house points to those specific people. - Earn house points by doing roleplay competitions - Earn by helping out new members Loss of house points - If a professor, prefect, or headboy/girl sees a roleplay where students are breaking rules IC they can enter the thread and take away house points, they can also give out an IC detention roleplay which can be fun - If a member does something against the rules, but not something that warrents the member to be banned but to lose points for their house. These are just some ideas gathered together at the moment, and I wrote this kind of fast, so it might not make much sense. XD
